Pre-Order "Chants d'Esperance, Chants de Confiance: Haitian Poems for Hard Times"
Christmas Songs in French: "Voici Noel, O Douce Nuit!
Voici noël, o douce nuit!
L’étoile est la qui nous conduit.
Allons donc tous ave les mages
Porter a Jesus nos hommages
Car l’enfant nous est né,
Le Fils nous est donné!
2.
Voici noël! Oh! Quel beau jour!
Jésus est né! quel grand amour
C’est pour nous qu’il vient sur la terre,
Qu’il prend sur lui notre misère.
Un Sauveur nous est né,
Le fils nous est donné!
3.
Voici noël! Ah, d’un seul coeur
Joignons nos voix au divin choeur
Qui proclame au ciel les louanges
De celui qu’annoncent les anges!
Oui, l’ enfant nous est né
Le fils nous est donné!
4.
Voici noël! Ne craignons pas,
Car Dieu nous dit: Paix ici-bas,
Bienveillance envers tous les hommes!
Pour nous aussi, tels que nous sommes,
Le fils nous est donné!
Ecoutez Un Saint Cantique!
Écoutez! Un saint cantique
vient d’éclater dans les cieux:
c’est un hymne magnifique,
c’est un chant simple et joyeux.
Les voix parcourant l’espace,
Disent aux humains surpris:
La foi fait place à la grâce,
Et Moïse à Jésus-christ.
2.
La promese est accomplie,
Le salut nous est donné:
En Christ, Dieu réconcilie
Sa justice et sa bonté.
L’heure de la délivrance
Pour les captifs a sonné;
C’est la nouvelle alliance:
L’enfant Jésus nous est né.
3.
Et, soudain, perçant le voile
Du firmament ténébreux,
L’éclat nouveau d’une étoile
Vers Juda jette ses feux.
Les mages, à sa lumière,
Accourent de l’Orient;
Et pour rendre gloire au Père,
Ils vont adorer l’Enfant
4.
Ce Jésus est notre frère,
Il a vécu parmi nous;
Il a pris notre misère,
Pécheurs, il est mort pour nous.
Sa charité nous enlace,
Il veut régner sur nos coeurs;
Sachons accepter sa grâce:
Jésus, sois notre Sauveur!

Jésus est l'Agneau.
Jésus est l'Agneau.
Jésus est l'Agneau.
Let us Sing - Annou Chante - Chantons - Cantemos "A Celui Qui Sera Vainqueur et qui me glorifie...."
Et qui me glorifie,
Je donnerai, dit le Seigneur,
Au ciel l'arbre de vie!
Victoire, force, honneur et louanges,
Gloire, Gloire, puissance à toi, Jésus!
Un caillou blanc, un nom nouveau,
Et la manne cachée,
Lui seront donnés par l'Agneau,
Sa promesse est scellée!
Victoire, force, honneur et louanges,
Gloire, Gloire, puissance à toi, Jésus!
Revêtu d'un vêtement blanc,
Resplendissant de gloire,
Sera celui qui par le sang
Remporta la victoire!
Victoire, force, honneur et louanges,
Gloire, Gloire, puissance à toi, Jésus!
Avec Christ, celui qui vaincra
S'assiéra sur son trône,
Et de ses mains il recevra
L'immortelle couronne.
Victoire, force, honneur et louanges,
Gloire, Gloire, puissance à toi, Jésus!

C’est lui qui brisa nos liens.

En paix, gardés par sa puissance,
Conduits chaque jour par sa main.

Hymnes et louange
Dans les cieux et sur la terre,
Il n'est aucun nom plus doux,
Aucun que mon coeur préfère
Au nom du Christ, mort pour nous.
Refrain :
Quel beau nom ! Quel beau nom
Porte le Fils éternel !
Quel beau nom ! Quel beau nom
Que celui d'Emmanuel !
Quelque grand que soit un homme,
Qu'il soit prince ou qu'il soit roi,
De quelque nom qu'on le nomme,
Jésus est plus grand pour moi.
[Refrain]
Dans les maux, Jésus soulage ;
Il guérit l'esprit froissé ;
Il ranime le courage
Du coeur le plus oppressé.
[Refrain]
De quelle joie il inonde
Le coeur du plus grand pécheur !
Non, il n'est rien dans le monde
De pareil à ce bonheur.
[Refrain]

Singing "Debout Sainte Cohorte"

Chants d'Esperance Are Hard to Find: Haitian Expatriates Want to Reconnect and Sing Again
Here is a review of this book: "Allelluia Haitian Chants of Hope and Faith: Praise to Thee, O Lord, King of Eternal Glory... is a listing of the most requested songs or hymns on ChandesperansOnline.com. It is the web site users' and authors' selections of their favorite hymns from the famous Chants d'esperance Francais et Creoles Haitiens. The authors of this release grew up singing these songs in the church and parochial schools they attended. They are songs such as "What a Friend We Have in Jesus" -"Quel Ami Fidele et Tendre Nous Avons en Jesus-Christ," "Quel Repos, Quel Repos" - "It is Well, It is Well...," etc. This book is a personal affair for the authors as they share their love of singing in French and Haitian creole..."
Sing along with Haitian Children! Canten con los chicos Haitianos. This compilation is for those who want to sing along with Haitian Children at christian venues, outreach mission trips, schools, churches and elsewhere. Some of the songs are short choruses...

Haitian Hip Hop Artist Wyclef Jean Perfected A Cappella
What is A Cappella? or Vocal Music?
Most Haitians will tell you it is unaccompanied, vocal singing.
Here is how it is defined, "A cappella (Italian[1] for In The Manner of The Church) music is solo or group vocal or singing without instrumental sound, or a piece intended to be performed in this way. A cappella was originally intended to differentiate between Renaissance polyphony and Baroque concertato style. In the 19th century a renewed interest in Renaissance polyphony coupled with an ignorance of the fact that vocal parts were often doubled by instrumentalists led to the term coming to mean unaccompanied vocal music.[2] In modern usage, a cappella often refers to an all-vocal group performance of any style, including barbershop, doo wop, and modern pop/rock. Today, a cappella also includes sample/loop "vocal only" productions by producers like Jimmy Spice Curry, Teddy Riley, Wyclef Jean, and other producers."
